two days till finals- I can't wait till it starts

I just walked into my room to find my laptop face-down on the floor and for a couple of seconds I was dumbfounded because there is literally no reason why my laptop would be on the floor so I asked my sister "eh did my laptop drop" then she was like "ya quite loudly" so I was like WHAT lo and behold there's a new dent thats pretty obvious at the top right corner of my laptop :(

I just typed the above chunk in one breath because I was so shookt (for lack of a better word) and I actually spent the past five minutes re-enacting the scene with my laptop and tipping it at various angles from where I last left it because I have no idea how and why my laptop dropped like it was at a pretty secure spot and by the principle of moments the clockwise moments actually were equal to the anti clockwise moments and my laptop was in a state of equilibrium so how could it have dropped???????

Being the typical Gen Z person I am, I immediately googled 'effects of dropping your laptop' and what I saw was most definitely NOT a sight for sore eyes. Its like going to a fortune teller and hearing some terrible predictions of the future: Laptop edition. With the Bizlaw e-exam coming up and just about every other final around the corner, im just hoping that there was no internal damage that would lead to any malfunctions or random deleting of files. I mean my touchpad is already spoilt-- the past few days have consisted of me trying to get used to using an actual physical mouse. But im honestly quite impressed at how far mouses have evolved though, my current mouse doesnt actually have a middle scrolling ring anymore, its like just one flat piece of touch sensitive material whereby you scroll down by stroking that flat piece downwards as if you were actually scrolling. Like I said, it takes some getting use to.

I suppose in situations like this there's really no point being sad about my dented laptop or potential hardware damage, all I can do is hope for the best and be thankful the damage wasnt worse.

I guess my friends will probably be able to vouch for how much i love this laptop. Im really quite territorial about my personal possessions like my colourpop make up (maybe cause its new) and even things like my waterbottle, I hate damaging my things I really do :(

about the title.........the faster it starts the faster it ends right? Im sick of doing test paper after test paper and STILL not being able to balance the things properly. My mom took one look at my work and she was like 'this is just the easy stuff'  and i laughed bc this is actually her career but anyway ok nice one mom real motivational :D <-- im bringing this smiley back its so cute
